An Emirates airline plane has crash-landed at Dubai Airport after reportedly catching fire in mid-air.
The Dubai government confirmed the jet - which took off from India earlier today - made an emergency stop at the airport shortly after 1pm local time (10am UK time).
All of the 300 people on board - including 24 Brits - were safely evacuated and just 14 people were taken to hospital to be treated for “cuts and bruises”, but their injuries were described as “moderate”.
Tragically hero firefighter, Jasim Issa Mohammed Hassan, died while putting out the flames.
Dramatic video appears to show the plane exploding on the runway.
